That whole moving thing...
So it's time for me to move again. My aim is to get myself closer to areas that are, well to put it bluntly, more fun than where I am right now. I am looking in manayunk and trying to find a place thats fairly cheap and still 1 bedroom. I think I've found it but I'm worried about what my parents will think: If it will nicely compare to where I live now. I know the odds of finding a place that is as "nice" as my current apartment in manyunk means I will be paying out the ass but I don't feel like I need a perfect apartment. I want a place I can make my own. I can't do that here. Walls need to stay white, can't really start putting up shelves or cabinates to fit my needs, ect.
Where I live now is also out of the way. Its hard to get home when going out for the night, usuallyu resulting in my staying over a friends, or not drinking a lot and then driving home. The cabs are something I have avoided simply because of the price tag. There's not much for the younger crowd going on out here and Manayunk is the place to be. I also want to be closer to the river for when I will eventually start rowing. Parkings a pain in Manayunk as most already know. Its not someting I'd be too worried about as I would most often be out in Manayunk and am sure I could afford a $5.00 cab ride.
Oh well. Its all just an aggravating process. Hopefully it all comes out like I want it to in the end.
